People commonly describe a sense of community as one of the greatest lacks in their lives. Yet old models of community often no longer work, and new one’s often provide connectedness of only the most superficial sort. The concept of Cultural Maturity provides insight into both why this is what we see and how needs for community might best be filled in the future.
