Creative Systems Theory proposes that what most defines us is our tool-making, meaning-making—creative—natures. It goes on to use a creative frame as the basis for a comprehensive set of “pattern language” concepts that address identity, change, and interrelationship in human systems of all sorts. Creative Systems “Patterning in Space” concepts address here-and-now systemic differences and interrelationships of all sorts— the internal complexities inherent to individual psychological functioning, personality style differences, organization relationships such as those between disciplines in a university or departments in business, and here-and-now multiplicities that manifest at a global scale.
